We had a lovely field trip with Emmett's homeschool group to a miniature horse ranch. The owners showed us how to groom them and then demonstrated driving a cart and jumping a hurdle. Then they put a couple of houses in a corral and let the kids pet them. They were ridiculously cute, and the kiddos came away talking about how much they wanted to have miniature horse. I had forgotten my camera but another mom was nice enough to take some pics and forward them to me.
