Summer Reading

We started our summer reading program through the Fort Collins Public Library. We went to the library and picked up 20 books. They have this wonderful service where I pick out the books on-line and place them on "hold". Then they go through the stacks and put them on a shelf in a nice row for me to pick up. I love and use this service so much I feel guilty. Someone else is going to do my dirty work - pawing through row after row of books to find that certain one (that is usually misplaced) - and do it with a smile; for free!! Oh I love this library.

These were our two favorite books from last trip - Magpie Magic and Henrietta and the Golden Egg.

When we got home we laid out a picnic blanket in the shade and read our books to each other and ate animal crackers. I love summer !
